Technical Overview

Aventure M comes out of the box as a Class 1 ebike with pedal assist. An Aventon throttle can be purchased and easily installed to convert it to Class 2. Aventon ebikes are built to the IPX6-rated standard, meaning the bike is protected against high-pressure water streams from any angle. This provides strong water resistance for riding in heavy rain, puddles, and mud.
However, IPX6 does not mean waterproof. Aventon ebikes are not designed for full submersion. Do not use pressure washers or high-pressure sprayers when cleaning, as pressurized water may damage components.
